Hey, I’m Trev.

I am a Christian, husband, father, and engineer. Faith is the most important part of who I am, and it shapes how I think about people, work, and the things worth building.

My family includes my wife and our two beautiful sons: one in heaven watching over us, and one who blesses us every day that he breathes.

Away from a keyboard, I enjoy longboarding, playing guitar, making my son laugh, making my wife laugh, and saying yes to just about any adventure.

Thoughtful engineering

I am passionate about helping technology teams make a meaningful impact. I discourage doing anything merely for the sake of doing it and lean hard into finding the deeper reason behind the work.

“It has always been that way” tends to make me curious. I like deconstructing processes, technologies, and projects—not simply to break them, but to find fresh and useful ways forward.

That instinct also led me to Tangential Solutions, an effort to bring bright engineers together to build solutions that sit tangential to conventional practices.
